  1. Here is GNU recode release 3.3, a tool whose purpose is converting
  2. files between various character sets and usages.  When exact
  3. transliterations are not possible, the program may get rid of the
  4. offending characters or fall back on approximations.

  17. nawk) and Flex 2.3 (or better) for reconstructing file merged.c.
